Eskom – corruption

Die gekkespel in Suid-Afrika is niks anders as misdaad, terreur en sabotasie nie.   Dis waarmee die regering en hul staatsentiteite besig is en belastingbetalers aan ‘n lyntjie hou en manipuleer.  Bladsye en bladsye met lyste van instansies, organisasies en munisipaliteite wat verwag om gratis elektrisiteit te ontvang en kom daarmee weg.  Dit sluit nie eers al die stakings hierby in nie.   En ons belastingbetalers word gevange gehou met hierdie manipulasie.  Daar is net een pad hieruit – selfbeskikking, volle onafhanklikheid in ons eie gebiede.

Gordhan statement

It’s not just up to Eskom to solve the load shedding crisis; it requires a coordinated response from all stakeholders in government, including business, and workers at the utility, says Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan. Who is playing games here with allegations from a minister? Where are the investigations of the Medupi explosions and the outcome from August 2021? One moment it is sabotage and then it is not? Then it is a human error.

DIE ONTPLOFFING – wie het die onderhoud gedoen hierop soos dit moes plaasvind? Het die werkers die nodige opleiding en kennis om dit te doen? Hoeveel is swart bemagtigers en regstelaksies wat nie die werk en onderhoud kan doen, is aangestel? Enige kragstasie vereis gespesialiseerde opgeleide persone wat weet wat hul doen.

Wat sou gebeur het as hierdie ‘n kernkragstasie was wat dele ontplof het – die hele omgewing sou verwoes gewees het en dan wil ons mense steeds met die Russe en ander kernkrag ooreenkomste bereik en regstellende aksie persone se dienste gebruik?

Kernkrag is nie iets waarmee niemand kan dobbel nie. Geld is dit nie werd nie, nog minder swart bemagtigers of enige ander wat nie die werk kan doen nie.

Hoe gekwalifiseerd is direkteure in sulke organisasies soos Eskom, besef die hoog besoldigste direkteure en regeringsamptenare en ministers/president (plaaslike owerhede minister sowel finansies en ouditeure), nie wat hulle doen om mense aan te stel wat nie die werk en gereelde onderhoud kan doen nie.

Daar gaan nie net geld verlore nie, maar gaan ook lewensverliese inhou in die toekoms met gedeeltes van ons land verwoes. Ons kan hierdie tipe van ongelukkig nie bekostig nie, maak nie wie dit veroorsaak het nie.

What would have happened if this was a nuclear power station? The whole area would have been destroyed and then ministers, president and people would still want to reach agreements with the Russians and other nuclear power institutions? The high paid directors / ceo’s and government officials and ministers / president do not realize what they are doing to hire people who cannot do the work and regular maintenance on power stations.

If a country plan and build a power station, then build one with people and personnel that can do the necessary maintenance and training. Not only will money be lost if it not the case, but there will also be loss of life in the future if this will happen in a nuclear power station.

Power utility Eskom says it is investigating the cause of an explosion at Medupi Power Station in Limpopo. The explosion happened at unit 4 on Sunday night, causing massive damage to the generator.

Trade Union Solidarity says that it doesn’t believe that the explosion at Medupi power station was due to sabotage. Eskom says that its preliminary investigation has found that there was an incorrect mixture of carbon dioxide when hydrogen was removed from the generator; and that this was a deviation from the normal procedure by the employees working at the time.

Where are all the actual investigations then by police in this matters of corruption at state, municipalities and even workers? It Gordhan stated this or that, why was all the corruption not investigated? Who are the supervisors – are they all “affirmative actors and black empowerments”?

Public enterprises minister Pravin Gordhan stated that sabotage at Eskom’s power plants cannot be ruled out as the power utility continues to grapple with financial and operational challenges. Why is it that each time we think we are reaching stability within the system, we have tweets coming from certain quarters — and no sooner the tweets come, one or other part of the plant experiences some kind of disruption?

Those who do not want to pay for electricity do not want to be part of the energy system. Remove them all, those non-payers and illegal connections, from the system until they have paid off all arrears. It is not only houses, but businesses as well – cut everything off – let them use candles or lamps or the can look for alternative energy.

When a person want to eat Kentucky or go to checkers, they will pay for their food, why not Eskom then? Eskom is not for free. If a person steal in any shop, they will go to jail, therefore, why not in this case as well?

Those who do not want to work there at Eskom, steal all the time and break machinery, do not belong there. This also applies to those who award tenders where corruption occurs. There are so many people who are looking for work and are skilled enough to run Eskom, without those terrorists who want to loot, steal or demolish it all day and every day. If municipalities cannot purchase and pay for their electricity in advance, do not give them debt.

Diegene wat nie wil betaal vir elektrisiteit nie,  hoef mos nie deel te wees van die energie sisteem nie. Haal wan en nie-betalers af van die stelsel tot hul alle agterstallige skuld betaal het. Uit huise en besigheid, sny alles af – laat hul maar kerse of lampies gebruik.   Betalers van krag gaan nie in die wanbetalers of terreurdaders se huise in nie.

Eskom gaan nie die nie-betalers en wanbetalers se huise binne en steel huise bankrot nie.

Moenie steel nie, want dit is ‘n misdaad teenoor belastingbetalers.

Indien enige persoon by Checkers of Game ingaan, betaal hul vir hul produkte.  Eskom lewer ook ‘n produk en die wat dit wil gebruik is welkom om dan te betaal daarvoor nes vir die produkte by Game of Checkers.    Niemand gaan na Checkers of Kentucky FC en verwag alles gratis nie, daar word vir alles betaal, BTW ingesluit. Waarom dan Eskom en ander plekke soos Denel, SAL en ander entiteite?

Die getroue betalers verwag ten minste dan ‘n beter diens as wat daar tans is en betaal word.  Eskom moenie hul getroue betalers straf omdat hulle nie die diefstal kan bekamp nie. 

Die wat nie daar wil werk nie, heeltyd steel en masjinerie breek, hoort nie daar nie.  Dit geld ook vir diegene wat tenders toekon waar korrupsie plaasvind.  Daar is baie wat werk soek en bekwaam genoeg is om Eskom te bedryf, sonder die terroriste wat dit heeldag en aldag wil plunder, steel of afbreek.  Indien munisipaliteite nie hul elektrisiteit vooraf kan aankoop en betaal nie, moenie dit op skuld gee nie.
