“Load-shedding in 2021 was the worst on record, with 2022 fast becoming as bad or worse. As the reliability of the existing fleet of generators continues to decline and delays with procuring and connecting new capacity to the grid continue to mount, SA now faces the very real prospect of a return to level six or even level eight load-shedding in the foreseeable future,” says Meridian Economics.
It explains that if the average annual coal plant energy availability factor reduces from the current levels of approximately 56% to below 50%, its modelling shows a widening generation capacity shortfall of between 5 000MW and 7 000MW (up to stage seven load-shedding), in the absence of drastic interventions.
This is according to a report by energy advisory firm Meridian Economics, which notes the outlook for SA’s escalating load-shedding problem is significantly worse than generally recognised. Corruption at the state-owned company, poor maintenance of power plants, as well as the over-dependence on ageing coal-powered power plants have mostly been blamed for the decay at Eskom. The country delayed the signing of power purchase agreements with renewable energy producers in 2016 (Bid Window 4) with 26 bidders. The deals were finally approved in 2018.

South Africa is selling and exporting superclass coal to the same countries that encourage South Africa to stop burning coal. The main countries are China, Germany, France and other European countries. Those Governments from overseas, play games with liberal whites and South African politicians that want to play together the Agenda games. The George Soros games (OSF.SA and Cato Institute).
Coal, Uranium, Chrome, Gold, Silver, Platinum exports to other countries are endless – where are those money going to , if not to our systems?
Why do the American president (Biden) and his colleagues, demanding South Africa to close down all coal power stations, but in the meantime, exporting of coal happened to those that upgrading their own coal power stations. Solar and wind is not effective for them, why will that be effective in South Africa. There are much more into those countries own agenda, it is to drive a total collapse of South Africa and the new world order to get it for free, especially all the coal and other minerals in South Africa, even Africa.
The immigration situation is also bad, because we in SA, lost skilled people all over for decades and those other countries did not wait to grab them to work in their power facilities and companies, with the extra financial income paid to their countries when emigration starts. What are the reasons why millions of African peoples ran to other countries, including South Africa – because of minerals and grabbing of land. Do research and also about mining in Africa. People must leave foreign countries and go back to their own original countries. Start working for a change, stop demanding and stop been part of revolutions all over. Stop attacking and killing ordinary peoples, farmers, etc.

Who is Mr Biden to tell what South Africa must do and what is the best for us? There will be more black outs in South Africa now. In the mean time all those countries with Biden, receive our coal, China, Germany, France etc, they are upgrading their coal power stations. Why is solar and wind not effective in those countries and need our coal? Solar and wind is not so effective at all.

Corruption – Eskom – Parliament
The policies of Eskom are the policies and legislations of the ANC government. A full blast of black economic empowerments (BEE – B-BBEE and AA) staff were appointed, not to build Eskom, but to degrade all the power stations and capture Eskom and the public of South Africa. Municipalities were part of those corruption, because most of the time they all want free electricity and do not want to pay one cent to use lights, stoves and elite equipment like a television. Most of the time the BEE-B-BBEE and AA workers do not want to work, but receive huge salaries for doing nothing. They like to play games with the trip switches when they feel nothing most of the time. Some of the tenders going out and those deliveries included big stones in the coal, they do not care to brake equipment and power stations to ruin the economy.
