Daar is geen ander manier om die tipe gedrag van die kastige protesgangers anders te beskryf as terrorisme en terreurdade nie. Hul optredes getuig van hul lewens en hoe hulle daagliks lewe. Vernielsugtig, plunder, steel en dan “monitor” polisie van ‘n afstand af, so asof die polisielede bang is vir enige optredes. Doen hulle dit wel, dan is die vet in die vuur soos by Marikana. By Marikana was daar veiligheidswagte eerstens aangerand, opgekap en aand ie brand gesteek in 2012.

Yusuf Abramjee reported of unrest have been streaming in from Jeppestown, Denver and Alexandra. In addition, the Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) warned of protest action on the M2 near the Denver exit. Both the east- and westbound are blocked off by rocks and burning tyres. Officers have been deployed; road users are advised to use alternative routes. A video shared on social media shows a burned-down church, shops and other buildings while stores are being looted in Jeppestown, Johannesburg.

Duisende is in die strate, wat van plek tot plek gaan om aan die brand te steek, plunder en eenvoudig besighede totaal te vernietig. Hoekom word net ‘n paar in hegtenis geneem?
KZN police spokesman Jay Naicker said the 28 arrests had happened since Friday on charges including public violence, burglary, malicious damage to property, and contravention of Covid-19 lockdown regulations.

There were no deaths or injuries so far, He said protesters had set alight some trucks near Mooi River, a town on the N3 highway that leads from Durban to Johannesburg, and shops had been looted in Mooi River and eThekwini, the municipality that includes Durban.

Wat is hierdie anders as die 1961-1994 onluste en noodtoestande van die vorige regering? Al verskil is, daar was meer en fisies opgetree deur weermag en polisie, vandag word alles gemonitor.

Na 2012 het dit voortgewoed na die Wes-Kaap en so is daar paaie ook geblok met brandende motorbande. In 2014 was hierdie paaie wat so chaoties gelyk het, verswak en oral moes daar teer weer oorgedoen word en ons as belastingbetalers moet net betaal, want die ANC se magte doen weinig of niks om dit stop te sit. In die “pandemie van die virus” is hulle nie veronderstel om so iets te doen nie, maar tog laat die ANC dit met gejuig toe, want dit breek die ekonomie nog verder af.

Word 20-30 trokke gebrand soos ‘n paar jaar gelede, verskil die omstandighede nie van wat onlangs ook gebeur het by al die tolhekke nie. En wie wen daardeur met al die 15% BTW? Die regering. Aan wie behoort Sasria – die regering. Lekker groot meevallers as daar gekyk word hoeveel nuwe voertuie word vervoer van punt A na B en word eenvoudig gebrand. Voertuie van R1 miljoen rand plus – hoeveel BTW is hier bereken – Sasria en BTW.

Video van vernietiging van infrastrukture waarvoor die huidige polisie en regering niks omgee nie. Hulle is lui om te werk vir hulself of om hulself op te hef, maar indien daar sulke tipe gedrag gewys word, is die swaar stene en klippe geen probleem om te beweeg of in strate en paaie te plaas nie. Die vernielsugtigheid word teen alle besighede wat hard werk, te vernietig. Die tipe gemors is al vir dekades aan die gang, nie net nou nie, maar zuma word nou voorgehou as die oorsaak. Terrorisme en sabotasie aan besighede en veral die vervoer besighede.

Those terrorists want to destroy private properties, because somebody must loose all business and not the government that put zuma in jail. It is still ongoing. Shopping centre has been closed for a while.

Johannesburg Emergency Services say they responded to a number of fire incidents in several parts of the city overnight. This follows a number of violent protests in Malvern, Jeppestown, Denver and Wynburg. Several shops were also looted. It’s understood that the protesters are pro-Zuma supporters calling for his release. Former president Jacob Zuma is currently incarcerated at the Estcourt Correctional Services facility in KwaZulu-Natal. Police are meanwhile on high alert following threats that protests happening in Kwazulu-Natal are going to spill over to Gauteng. Gauteng Acting Provincial Commissioner Major General Tommy Mthombeni says their intelligence is on the ground gathering information on a daily basis.
