Suid-Afrika is nie ‘n arm land nie – selfs die afgelope twee jaar bewys dit hoeveel uitgevoer word.   Dis beslis onseker of al hierdie uitvoerprodukte se rykdom wat verkry word uit veral minerale en ander produkte, nie afgewentel na die armes op grondvlak nie.

In 2019 South Africa was the number 36 economy in the world in terms of GDP (current US$), the number 36 in total exports, the number 39 in total imports, the number 99 economy in terms of GDP per capita (current US$) and the number 57 most complex economy according to the Economic Complexity Index (ECI).

Exports

In 2019, South Africa was the world’s biggest exporter of Platinum ($9.62B), Manganese Ore ($3.16B), Chromium Ore ($1.92B), Titanium Ore ($583M), and Niobium, Tantalum, Vanadium and Zirconium Ore ($480M)

The top exports of South Africa are Gold ($16.8B),  Platinum ($9.62B),  Cars ($7.61B),  Iron Ore ($6.73B), and Coal Briquettes ($5.05B), exporting mostly  to  China ($16.7B), United Kingdom ($8.5B), Germany ($8.1B), United States ($6.83B), and India ($6.03B).

 

Imports

The top imports of South Africa are Crude Petroleum ($8.93B), Refined Petroleum($4.25B), Cars ($3.85B), Vehicle Parts ($3.07B), and Gold ($2.7B), importing mostly from China ($16.1B), Germany ($9.85B), United States ($5.44B), India ($4.18B), and Saudi Arabia ($3.69B).

2021

In July 2021 South Africa exported ZAR139B and imported ZAR108B, resulting in a positive trade balance of ZAR31.1B.

In July 2021, the increase in South Africa’s year-by-year exports was explained primarily by an increase in exports to Japan (ZAR6.9B or 148%), United States (ZAR5.2B or 55.8%), and China (ZAR4.21B or 30.1%), and product exports increase in Platinum (ZAR18.8B or 157%), Iron Ore (ZAR9.46B or 120%), and Coal Briquettes  (ZAR1.76B or 37.2%). In July 2021, the increase in South Africa’s year-by-year imports was explained primarily by an increase in imports from Saudi Arabia  (ZAR3.17B or 244%), China (ZAR3.1B or 17.3%), and United States (ZAR2.66B or 50.2%), and product imports increase in Commodities not elsewhere specified  (ZAR4.62B or 134%), Refined Petroleum (ZAR3.23B or 50.2%), and Crude  Petroleum  (ZAR2.36B or 71.5%).

Between July 2020 and July 2021 the exports of South Africa have increased by ZAR20.9B (17.7%) from ZAR118B to ZAR139B, while imports increased by ZAR22.9B (27%) from ZAR85B to ZAR108B.

In July 2021, South Africa exported mostly to China (ZAR18.2B), United States (ZAR14.5B), Japan  (ZAR11.5B),  Germany (ZAR11.1B), and United Kingdom (ZAR9.73B),   and imported mostly  from  China (ZAR21B),  Germany  (ZAR9.79B), United States (ZAR7.95B), India (ZAR6.03B), and Saudi Arabia (ZAR4.47B).

In July 2021 the exports of South Africa were mainly from O.R. Tambo Int Airport (ZAR37.7B), Saldanha Bay  (ZAR16.2B), Durban (ZAR15.4B), Richards Bay (ZAR12.1B),  and Cape Town (ZAR8.5B), while imports destinations were mainly  Durban (ZAR53.7B), O.R. Tambo Int Airport (ZAR20.6B), Cape Town (ZAR10.2B),  Port Elizabeth (ZAR7.09B), and Johannesburg (ZAR3.6B).

Dienste is absoluut noodsaaklik maar word vir dekades agterweë gehou.  Tydens verkiesingstydperke sedert 1994, word allerhande beloftes gemaak wat nie realiseer nie.   

Waar is die armoede oor die algemeen in Suid-Afrika?   Vergelyk die kaart hierbo en ander artikels waar mynontginning plaasvind.   

Heelwat blankes het werksgeleenthede verloor as gevolg van swart bemagtiging en regstelaksies, maar dieselfde kan nie van die ander volke gesê word nie.

Another sore eye that stands out is the amount of “blacks” that are presented to us as black poverty, whether on the map or via towns and cities, but it is rather because of black immigrants from Africa, who come everywhere to paste and provide free services , homes and schools expected. Many municipalities, especially metropolises, are establishing new residential areas and taking in immigrants.   

If you read the hundreds (thousands) of Hansards in parliament, you will see how many ethnic blacks/khoi san claimed their own areas, mostly the old homelands (reserves) or crownland , that both were annexed by the British crown, long before 1900. 

Under the ANC legislation, you will find two or even more legislations on trustland and landclaims (CPA), where the different ethnic groups of people still living separate from each other.   Only them can benefit from those areas and land and whites (or indians) are not allowed to buy land in any case of any landclaim or trustland today.   

We as Boers or Whites, did not steal their land, millions of black and khoi san (25 ++ million) are still living on their own lands, created by them after the Mfecane wars in 1810-1835.   It was called “crownland” or “reserves” (later 1961, reserves became 10 homelands).   

They all received a lot of money in this landclaims processes, as well as implements, seeds, animals, etc.   For them to use, but they still claim they are living in poverty.  There are even two separate houses (not parliament 400 members), with over 8840 traditional leaders that also received salaries and other benefits from tax.

‘n Ander seer oog wat uitstaan is, is die hoeveelheid “swartes” wat aan ons voorgehou as swart armoede, hetsy op kaart of via dorpe en stede,  maar dis eerder as gevolg van swart immigrante uit Afrika, wat oral kom plak en gratis dienste, huise en skole verwag.  Heelwat munisipaliteite, veral metropole, stig nuwe woongebiede en neem immigrante op.

Die grootste oorsaak vir armoede en werkloosheid is juis swart bemagtiging en regstellende aksie wetgewings, wat net sekere bevoorregte swart of ander elites bevoordeel en nie die swartes of ander volke op grondvlak nie.
