Wanneer daar multi-kulture in een land is, waar veral minderheidsvolke onderdruk word of teen wie daar gediskrimineer word, is dit niks minder as reg dat so ‘n volk (e) hul menseregtigheid terugkry en ‘n kans gegee word om hul internasionale reg uit te oefen. Tot wie se voordeel word onafhanklikheid toegeken – beslis nie vir ‘n spesifieke land wat daarteen gekant is nie want sulke lande het reeds menswaardigheid. Katalonië word as voorbeeld aangehaal. Hulle is ‘n sterk staat en provinsie, op alle vlakke.

Were Spain as well as Catalonia both EU members, Spanish citizens can live, work and settle in Catalonia and vice-versa. Independence would be minimally disruptive.
The EU can set an example to the world in its tolerance for the freedom of its peoples to decide on the limits of self-determination whichever the country they belong to. Should an independent Catalonia remain within the EU together with Spain, the two together may progress both economically and societally much more than is the case at present, with Barcelona resenting the control of Madrid over so much of its destiny.
Denial of the freedom of Catalans to determine their own future makes a mockery of the very foundation of the EU, which is equal rights (including presumably of self-determination) for all. Election results in Catalonia, despite a substantial portion of the voters being from other parts of Spain, indicate that a majority of the Catalan people favour independence from Spain in view of their distinctive traditions, customs, language and culture.

People do have international rights to rule themselves.
Tensions between Spain and Catalonia are running high. Catalonia unilaterally declared independence in 2017, and the Spanish government took charge of Catalonia and imposed direct rule. Direct rule has since ended, but the present trials of Catalan separatist leaders for charges such as rebellion, sedition, civil disobedience and misuse of public funds are leading once again to a possible crisis.
Catalonia is an important region for both Spain and the European Union. Catalonia is Spain’s richest region, accounting for a fifth of the country’s GDP. Barcelona is one of the top 20 ports in the EU by weight of goods handled. Two-thirds of Catalonia’s foreign exports go to the EU.

Voorkoming van skending van menseregte
Tans word ons 100% teruggehou om so iets te ontwikkel juis as gevolg van swart bemagtiging, word ons nog meer in armoede ingedruk.
Selfs in gebiede waar ons meerderhede vorm (volgens die Volkstaatraad van 1994 se ondersoeke wat gedoen is) het ons ‘n internasionale reg daartoe.
Daar is egter moontlikhede, ons moet fokus om onsself in die gebiede, waartoe ons ‘n reg het, ons meer ekonomies te herstel, fokus en steun op volkseie besighede. Fokus op plattelandse dorpe wat binne die gebiede val, wat ons ons eie volkslede en onsself kan ophef.
Skep geleenthede en veral werksgeleenthede, maar ook opleiding in alle rigtings, want die regering gaan niks vir ons doen nie.
Moorde en aanvalle teenoor ons mense gaan nooit stop nie.
Swart bemagtiging gaan nooit stop nie.
Die vernietiging van ons kultuur en Afrikaanse taal, gaan nie gestop word nie.

Prevention of violation of human rights
We as Boer and Afrikaners, in South Africa are not ONE nation, but there are various and different multi-cultures – even the Blacks and Khoi san are different cultures.
Where minority peoples in particular are oppressed or discriminated against, it is no less than their human rights that such a people regain their rights and are given a chance to assert their international rights to rule themselves.
To whose advantage is independence granted – certainly not for a particular country that is opposed to it because such countries already have human dignity.
It is to prevent different peoples from exterminating each other in other areas, specifically for that people who are being systematically exterminated, with crimes, murders and even discrimination as in South Africa where black empowerment (B-BBEE and EE) is used around our people, because of our white identity, our culture , language and economically totally wiped out. We as a nation, like other minorities, do not want to compete against others who are superior, but in our own right. Nations have an international human right to govern themselves.
