So duur die soektog voort na die moordenaars en terrorisme wat ‘n bloedstreep agter gelaat het.   Hoeveel moorde in Suid-Afrika is en bly net onopgelos, omrede moordenaars vinnig inkom om te vermoor en dan oor die grens te vlug, so maklik soos val uit ‘n boom uit.  Grense oop en misdadigers stroom oor, maar dit is ook nie noodwendig vreemdelinge wat altyd die moorde pleeg nie.   Daar word nog gesoek na Kenny Ramatshimbila.

Anette Kennealy an activist against farm attacks, found murdered in her farmhouse.

Former DA councilor and activist against farm attacks Anette Kennealy was herself murdered on her farm yesterday.

It is alleged that she was beaten to death on her small farm just outside Louis Trichardt, according to a tweet from one of her good friends.

Her last post on facebook was on the 19th and about farm murders.

Friends started investigating after she didn’t answer calls and messages. SAPS on scene, no arrests.

According to information provided by Marius Müller, national operational coordinator of AfriForum, Kennealy’s mother phoned her and began to suspect foul play when her daughter was not responding.

She then sent someone out to the smallholding where Kennealy lived with a worker yesterday morning.

This is where Kennealy’s body was found. Kennealy lay on her stomach and had injuries to her left eye as well as an open wound to her forehead, and multiple stab wounds.

A hammer lay on the scene and she also had an iron rod around her neck.

Until now the whereabouts of the deceased’s employee is unknown and police request the deceased’s employee, Kenny Ramatshimbila from Mauluma, to come to Makhado Police Station or to the nearest Police Station to assist with investigations in this matter.

The suspect(s) involved in this matter are still unknown and the police urge anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects, to contact Captain Muthuhadini Tinyani at 072 470 1444. Alternatively they can contact the 24-hour crime stop number on 0860010111, the crime Line SMS 32211 or the nearest Police Station.

It was reported in the media that the Limpopo police are investigating a brutal murder on a farm near Makhado. The incident took place late on Monday evening (20 May) or early on Tuesday morning.  Police spokesperson Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said the murder happened on the farm Welgevonden.  “It is alleged that the deceased, Annette Kennealy, 51, who was staying with her employee, was attacked by unknown suspects at this farm. The family members tried to call her without success, until one of them went to investigate,” said Ngoepe.

On arrival he found the deceased inside the house lying in a pool of blood, with multiple stab wounds.  “The whereabouts of the deceased’s employee is unknown at this stage.”   Ngoepe said it is unclear at this stage why Kennealy was murdered or if anything had been stolen.

“The police are requesting the deceased’s employee – Kenny Ramatshimbila from Mauluma – to come to Makhado police station or to the nearest police station to assist with investigations in this matter.”

In another statement released is the police still busy with their investigations.   Police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe said the Police in Makhado (Louis Trichardt) are still looking for the suspects (s) involved in the murder of 51-year-old Annette Kaanadly. The body of the deceased was found lying in a pool of blood inside the house on at Welgevonden farm, on Tuesday morning. It is suspected she was  murdered during an incident which occurred during the night between 20 and 21 May, he added.

“It is alleged that the deceased was together with her employee on the said farm, when she was attacked by unknown suspect(s). After family members tried to call her without success, one member went to investigate and upon arrival found the deceased inside the house lying in a pool of blood. Her body had multiple stab wounds,” he explained.

The motive behind this incident is not clear at this stage but the ongoing Police investigations will tell. It has also not yet been confirmed whether properties were stolen during the incident, said Ngoepe in the statement.

    Please ask mr Ngoepe to rectify his comment. Annette Kennealy wasn’t staying with her employee, he was staying on her farm working for her.
