Please pray for this man and family.
6 February 2019 – An Onderstepoort resident (north of Pretoria) was seriously wounded when three robbers stormed a smallholding in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The resident, his wife and a two-year-old child were home at the time of the attack. “The robbers broke down their front door,” said Freek Pienaar, a friend of the family.
“One of the robbers had a firearm while the others were armed with a knife and a screwdriver.”

Pienaar said the man, who has not been identified, was shot in his lower body during the robbery and is in hospital.
He said the robbers stole a TV, cellphones and other valuables before fleeing the scene in the family’s vehicle. The bakkie they took, however, had a tracking device installed and was later in the morning found abandoned in Soshanguve.
There was no trace of the robbers. Pienaar said one of the robbers left a knife at the scene of the crime. Pretoria North police were still on the scene at the time of going to press on Wednesday morning.
