FOUR pupils have been killed with twenty others hospitalised after a walkway collapsed at Hoërskool Driehoek in Vanderbijlpark. The South African Human Rights Commission is urging the Department of Education in Gauteng to evaluate and invest in safe school infrastructure.

The victims of the Höerskool Driehoek tragedy have been laid to rest in three different funerals in the Vaal. Three pupils were killed instantly and more than twenty others injured when a concrete walkway collapsed at the school last week. A fourth learner succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
