Limpopo, South Africa – China deal

It was reported in Noseweek that Ramaphosa personally signed the deal on his visit to China in October 2019.    There was a thought or question, was this recklessness, a measure of the government’s desperation?  As standard practice, the labour to construct and run the multiple power stations and smelters (tax free) will be Chinese.   For us to repay this debt we will be committed to letting them export the metals they produce duty-free to China at a price set by them.   Who will lost everything at the end with such deals?

Al hoe meer geld word vanaf China (as belegger) geleen (verseker teen ‘n prys en rentekoers, want – niks kom gratis nie). En dit alles, terwyl die korrupsie op alle vlakke van SA regering nie aangespreek word nie – Zuma, Mbeki en Mandela het ook niks daaraan gedoen nie.

Geen land doen beleggings gratis nie. Korrupsie is al aan sedert 1994, en dit word nie ontken dat daar nie korrupsie voor 1994 plaasgevind het nie. Dit hou eenvoudig nie op nie. Swart bemagtiging is ‘n groot aantrekkingskrag vir elites want dis net hulle wat daarby baatvind. Die aantal miljoen136rs word net meer.

Daar is die een kommissie na die ander, onder aanstelling van president, waar geen een waar korrupsie uitgewys en ondervra is, vervolg nie. Dis hoe die ANC opereer en oorleef. Met korrupsie. Dus, waar is al daardie korrupsie geld heen, die gupta geld, die wapen skandaal, die prasa treine, die teksboeke skandaal sedert 1994? Self met grendeltyd het donasiegeld ekstra voete en hande gekry.

Indien dit so sleg gaan met ons ekonomie, hoekom word daar geld veral uit China geleen? Hier is weer iets verborge wat nie openlik bekendgemaak word nie.

Let op al die duur voertuie wat gery word. Waar kom al die finansies vandaan om staatsamptenare te vergoed – veral die 8840 tradisionele leiers is nog ‘n groter uitgawe as die parlement se 400 lede – elkeen hul eie byvoordele wat uit die staatskas verdien. Daar is ook die meer as 20 miljoen SASSA afhanklikes sowel as die honderde tronke waar misdadigers onderhou word.

Bo-en-behalwe die groot uitgawe van al die enorme hoeveelheid leiers, wat niks met Afrikaners of Boere (blankes) te doen het nie, word die grondeise genoem, die 5000 produktiewe plase wat opgekoop is, ander wat uitgedeel is met grondeise, mentors wat betaal is en duisende CPA’s wat geregistreer het – en almal ontvang net.

In die grendeltyd was daar donasies om hospitale en gesondheidsdienste op te gradeer, die geld is ook gesteel – dus, iemand se “ontwikkelingsbanke” word ryker uit Suid-Afrika. Hospitale wat kwansuis opgerig is, is op een plek ‘n leë erf. Intussen stroom die sogenaamde beleggings in, soos wat regering (Ramaphosa) genoem het, onderhandelings wat onderteken is. Alles is lenings, nie skenkings nie, lees die fynskrif. En alles is swart bemagtiging – weer eens net die elites wat baat vind by die grendeltydperk en fondse uitdeel.

Hierdie staat, gebied en alles wat hulle oprig,  gaan slegs deur die Chinese gebruik word.  Die chinese se eie gebied binne 25 jaar, sommer so sonder enige besluitneming van enige etniese volk wat daarteen gekant is.

A FAILED COUNTRY – SOUTH AFRICA

Ramaphosa made no reference to the advice Mandela received from China at Davos, forty-odd years later, that a socialist economy would be a disaster. Ramaphosa has frequently extolled the ongoing pursuit of ‘The National Democratic Revolution’ (NDR). The NDR’s roots lie in Lenin’s 1917 Theory of Imperialism. Seven decades later, Lenin’s theory remains central to the NDR today.

There are roughly 70 current and former socialist states or states run by socialist parties. The only remaining communist/socialist countries are China, Laos, Vietnam, Cuba and Venezuela. The first three are liberalising economically, Cuba is poor and under-developed, and Venezuela is imploding.

We just need to look at our failed socialist neighbours – Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe – to be chastened about contemplating a socialist economic model. There is nothing to suggest that the ANC would succeed where all have so miserably failed.

Ramaphosa has said categorically that it would apply expropriation without compensation, ahead of the findings of the Consitutional Judicial Review Commission, which the ANC proposed, with success, in the National Assembly.

Ramaphosa has never acknowledged that incompetence, corruption, a shortage of funding and a shortage of judges for the Land Court by successive ANC governments are the real reasons for any lack of success in land reform. He has contradicted himself on whether land ownership will vest in the state or in individuals.

Memorandae of understanding (MOU)

Ramaphosa has secured close to $35-billion worth of investments for South Africa in July alone and sealed $14.7-billion worth of investment commitment from China during a state visit to the Union Buildings by the Asian economic powerhouse.

Ramaphosa said the commitment‚ along with several agreements and memorandums of understanding that were signed between the two countries‚ would “deepen” the 20-year old trade relations between SA and China. He said that China is ready to invest and to work with South Africa in various sectors such as infrastructure‚ the ocean economy‚ the green economy‚ science and technology‚ agriculture‚ the environment as well as finance.

The investment commitment comes barely two weeks after Ramaphosa secured back-to-back $10-million investments with Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates respectively.

The latest investment deal with China takes Ramaphosa closer to his target of $100-billion worth of investment within his first year in the presidential seat. Among other agreements reached during the China state visit include simplification of visa requirements‚ a joint declaration of international development cooperation and a $2.5-billion loan to Eskom by the China Development Bank. Eskom chief executive Phakamani Hadebe said the loan would boost the power utility’s funding to 62% for the current financial year. Hadebe said the loan was a “normal commercial loan” which is guaranteed by the South African government.
